El Txoko churros and chocolaté

ChurrosEl Txoko is a new place in town that serves the yummiest churros and chocolate, plus other yummies. Oh my gosh. So Perfect! They are crunchy on the outside and slightly chewy in the middle and the chocolate is rich and dark with the right amount of sweet but not too sweet. Get thyself over there straight away! It is one store after Artisan's cafe on Rizal Avenue on the way to the old airport and across from Wyndham Best Western Hotel.

They also sell a nice variety of freshly baked bread. This was a quick in and out stop for me as I had somewhere to be, but had to try the churros as I had a craving for them for over a year. I will go back and check out the menu next time and post more of what they offer.

I have been back since and really enjoyed the chicken quesadillas and the Tomato soup!!

Shop hours are from 12 noon to 10PM. Closed on Mondays.

They also sell freshly baked bread from their bakery
downtown, Cafe Ole.
Their tomato soup is now one of my favorites.
