Rurungan Market |
One of the events I really look forward to every month is the
Binhi at
Rurugnan Sunday Market. Normally held on the first Sunday of every month.
Binhi Mindful Market carries Palawan made goods from bread to native baskets, organic vegetables, herbs, hand made soaps, as well as organic soaps made by Human Nature. Since it is in the compound where the Rurungan Weavers make clothes and shawls from pineapple fibers, they also carry those items. It is also beside the restaurant Kusina Ni Tito Ernie so you can eat there before or after you shop. I never fail to find something to bring home, especially when they have organic eggs and various native crafts like baskets, woven mats, and organic produce.

One of our staple hot sauces at home by Maldita Fiery Foods! I would have bought them for the clever names like Peaches and Scream, Hijo de Frutas, Profanity. I wish I had the creativity to come up with names like that! |
